Hi, I’m Ross Caton, the founder of High Caliber Cleaning Supplies, and I’m excited to share a bit about myself and how this journey came to be. I’ve had a passion for hunting and the outdoors for as long as I can remember. I started hunting in England when I was 16, and that passion has shaped everything from my personal life to the business I run today.

A Hunter's Perspective

Growing up in England, I was always drawn to the thrill of the hunt. My uncle, a gamekeeper, would take me along on his hunts, and I’d also go on my own. For me, it’s never just been about the hunt—it’s the connection to nature, the patience it teaches, and the respect we owe to the environment. Over the years, I’ve sharpened my skills, and along the way, I realized how important it is to properly maintain the gear that supports these adventures, particularly firearms. Keeping your weapons clean and in top condition has always been crucial, especially when you’re out in the field and they need to perform when it counts the most.

As I spent more time in the field, I noticed a gap in the market for high-quality, Australian-made cleaning supplies designed specifically for hunters and gun enthusiasts like myself—products that were tough enough to handle the outdoors but still simple and effective to use.
